Responsibilities & Context

  • Estimation, Costing & Time Scheduling: Prepare cost estimates, budgeting, and time schedules for large-scale construction projects.
  • Material Estimation: Estimate materials required based on requisitions and ensure alignment with the project budget.
  • Construction and Quality Control: Oversee construction activities, ensure quality control, prepare bills, and manage subcontractors.
  • Project Development: Manage overall project development activities, ensuring all construction phases are completed according to plans.
  • Monitoring and Supervision: Supervise day-to-day construction operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed plans to complete projects within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Document Management: Maintain and organize official construction documents, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, internet browsing, and email communication.
  • Structural Design: Use AutoCAD and Revit Architecture software for structural design tasks.
  • Work Volume and Bills: Review and verify the volume of work and bills submitted by various contractors.
  • Communication with Management: Provide regular updates to management on work progress and any issues that arise.
  • Civil Works Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on all civil works, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Adaptability and Pressure Management: Able to work independently, adapt to changing conditions, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to construction sites inside and outside Dhaka for project supervision.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction activities comply with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Jolshiri (Jolshiri Enlisted), RAJUK building standards, and other applicable regulations.
