Age: 25 to 30 years
Strong knowledge of BNBC 2020 and other relevant structural codes
Proficiency in structural design software: STAAD Pro, SAP, SAFE, RAM Connection, Aidea Statica, ASDIP, ETABS, AutoCAD, Tekla Design Structure, etc.
Basic knowledge of detailing and fabrication drawings for RCC and Steel structures
Computer literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Prior experience in engineering or consulting firms is preferred
Positive attitude, responsible, and strong work ethic
Sound understanding of ACI, AISC, ASCE, AWS, MBMA, RSC guidelines, ASTM, European codes, and other standards
Knowledge of structural analysis methods and non-structural component design
Fluent in English (reading and writing)
Job Location: ECB Chatter, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
Design and interpret Steel and RCC structures, reporting progress and findings to the supervising manager.
Responsible for steel connection design in structural projects.
Perform structural design using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and Tekla Structures.
Prepare detailed design reports and structural drawings for all assigned projects.
Manage the legal approval process required for construction of factories and other projects.
Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and submit reports to the manager.
Prepare Design & BOQ for both Pre-Fabricated Steel Structures and RCC structures.
Coordinate with site engineers, project engineers, detailers, and other assigned personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct Detail Engineering Assessment (DEA) and Retrofit design as required.
