✔ Age: At least 22 years.
✔ Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English, along with good computer and IT knowledge.
✔ Ability to communicate professionally with students and guardians and provide accurate and relevant information.
✔ Strong relationship-building skills with students, parents, local agents, and international partners.
✔ Ability to take on challenges, explore new business opportunities, and work effectively under pressure to achieve assigned targets.
✔ Patience, time-management skills, teamwork capabilities, and a positive attitude toward achieving marketing and admission goals.
✔ Comfortable appearing in Facebook Live sessions and creating videos for social media when required.
✔ Ability to understand enquiries received through email and provide accurate, professional, and timely responses.
✔ Ability to communicate with prospective students and parents through Messenger, WhatsApp, IMO, Viber, and other communication platforms.
✔ Capable of properly recording, filtering, and maintaining prospective student and parent information and updating the company's online system/CRM accurately.
✔ Strong telemarketing, persuasion, and motivational communication skills to convert prospective clients into applications.
✔ Ability to maintain effective communication and coordination with the China office to provide timely services and accurate information to students and agents.
✔ Previous experience in education counselling, overseas admissions, sales, or customer service will be preferred.
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional approach to student counselling.
✔ Good command of English; strong Bengali communication skills will be an advantage.
✔ Good computer proficiency, including MS Office and online communication platforms.
✔ Strong follow-up, persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and student-focused Overseas Education Counsellor who can guide prospective students and their parents, understand their academic and career goals, recommend suitable study options, and provide support throughout the admission journey.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Counsel prospective students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities, with a primary focus on studying in China.
✔ Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, financial considerations, and career goals to provide appropriate guidance.
✔ Recommend suitable universities, academic programs, scholarships, and study opportunities based on individual student profiles.
✔ Clearly explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, accommodation options, application procedures, and other relevant information.
✔ Handle student enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat, and face-to-face meetings.
✔ Regularly follow up with prospective students and convert qualified enquiries into successful applications.
✔ Assist students in completing application forms, preparing documents, and meeting admission requirements.
✔ Coordinate with the Admission/Application Team and partner universities to ensure smooth application processing.
✔ Keep students informed about application status, admission offers, scholarship results, deadlines, and other important updates.
✔ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admission progress in the company's CRM or relevant systems.
✔ Achieve assigned counselling, application, and admission targets.
✔ Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.
✔ Participate in education fairs, seminars, school/college visits, counselling sessions, and promotional activities when required.
✔ Stay updated on university admission policies, scholarship opportunities, application deadlines, academic programs, and changes in overseas education requirements.
