  • 5-7 years of experience in technical roles, with a minimum of 3 years in project management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and a proven track record of successfully leading software development projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of technologies such as Node.js, Deno, TypeScript, PHP, React, Redis, Ubuntu, RabbitMQ, and Socket.io.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and delivering projects using Agile practices.
  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional) is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in DevOps or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Prior experience in managing cloud infrastructure, including platforms such as DigitalOcean, AWS, or Azure.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of software development projects, from planning through execution, delivery, and support.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage project scope, timeline, resources, and risks.
  • Leverage technical expertise to assess project requirements, facilitate architecture discussions, and ensure technical standards are met.
  • Manage and optimize workflows using JIRA (or other project management tools) to track tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals, challenges, and solutions.
  • Lead stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and developers, translating requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Optimize project performance using Redis for caching, Socket.io for real-time functionality, and RabbitMQ for message queueing.
  • Maintain documentation, identify resource needs, and ensure project outcomes align with business objectives.
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical background in software development, with hands-on experience in technologies such as Node.js, Deno, TypeScript, PHP, React.
  • Experience managing end-to-end software development projects and leading Agile teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, along with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate between developers, stakeholders, and business units.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, performance optimization, and architecture discussions.
  • Experience with Redis, Socket.io, and RabbitMQ to optimize performance and communication.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and business objectives.
