Bangladesh Specialized Hospital (BSH) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technician/Assistant Technician (ECG) in the Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate will perform electrocardiographic (ECG) tests, including arrhythmia monitoring and stress testing, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostic services. This role involves patient care, precise documentation, technical maintenance, and close collaboration with Cardiologists to support patient outcomes.

ECG Testing and Monitoring:

• Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) to assess heart rhythm and function.
• Follow established clinical protocols to ensure test safety and accuracy.
• Assist in stress testing procedures under the supervision of a Cardiologist.

• Explain ECG procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Properly position patients for optimal test results and monitor their condition throughout the procedure.
• Remain alert to signs of distress and respond to emergencies in line with hospital protocols.

• Record electrical activity of the heart and produce accurate ECG tracings for physician review.
• Identify and document any irregularities in ECG patterns and prepare preliminary reports.
• Collect and update relevant patient history before testing to ensure complete records.

• Maintain and clean ECG equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, arranging for repairs when necessary.
• Stay informed on the latest ECG technologies and techniques through ongoing training.

• Manage and coordinate patient appointments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize waiting times.
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide clear instructions.

• Contribute to clinical research by providing ECG data and collaborating with research teams as needed.
