Education

  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), in Marketing

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s agricultural sector, including crop cycles and common challenges faced farmers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in local languages and dialects is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Achieve sales targets for agrochemical products within the designated territory.
  • Identify new sales opportunities by visiting farmers, agro-input dealers, and distributors.
  • Develop and implement territory-level sales strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility in key retail outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and farmers to promote the benefits of products.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical support to farmers on the proper use of agrochemicals.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding product performance and application.
  • Gather and analyze market data, including competitor activities and market trends.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.
  • Monitor and report stock levels within the distribution network.
  • Conduct training programs and workshops for retailers and farmers to enhance their understanding of product benefits and usage.
  • Participate in promotional activities, such as field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and agricultural fairs.
