Responsibilities & Context

A Territory Sales Officer (TSO) is responsible for driving sales performance and market expansion within a specific geographic area. The role focuses on achieving targets, managing distribution channels, and ensuring strong market presence and product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Achievement: Meet assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Distributor Management: Appoint, train, and manage distributors and dealers to maintain proper stock levels and product availability.
  • Market Execution: Conduct regular field visits to retailers, execute promotional activities, and ensure strong product visibility in the market.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers, traders, and customers.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends, and report insights to management.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales performance, market visits, and competitor analysis.
