Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and Coordinate: Plan and manage the upkeep and servicing of company vehicles
  • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics for vehicles in the service center
  • Inventory Control: Manage spare parts inventory, place orders according to schedule, and forecast material needs
  • Vehicle Monitoring: Track vehicle trips and monitor performance using GPS systems and dash cams
  • Driver Assistance: Guide drivers on optimal routes during heavy traffic, provide support on technical issues, and communicate safety concerns
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication via phone and email with relevant personnel and stakeholders for smooth operations and escalation management
  • Process Management: Establish and maintain transportation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), track performance metrics
  • Training and Development: Contribute to training programs for drivers and mechanics
