Hands-on experience in transport operations and vehicle maintenance.
Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across the country.
Oversee and coordinate all transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the transport team.
Manage vehicle development, performance, and maintenance to deliver optimal service, value, and profitability against set targets.
Maintain up-to-date vehicle documentation, including tax tokens, fitness certificates, insurance, and new vehicle registration.
Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all company vehicles.
Keep systematic records of all repairs and maintenance in vehicle logbooks and maintenance records.
Monitor driver skills, qualifications, and provide necessary training.
Contribute to the overall training and development of the transport team.
Maintain fuel consumption standards and ensure proper inventory of vehicle components through regular checks.
Inspect loads to prevent overloading and ensure safety compliance.
Submit comprehensive monthly reports on transport operations, including maintenance, fuel usage, new vehicle inclusion, documentation, and safety measures.
Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager as needed.
