Additional Requirements

• Coordinate and oversee the successful implementation of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to address challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide specialized technical guidance and support in Public Health Engineering to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of safe, accessible, inclusive, and gender-sensitive WASH initiatives, tailored to the specific context of the project areas.
• Develop innovative solutions and best practices to improve water and sanitation infrastructure and services in the project communities.
• Coordination:
• Foster effective collaboration and communication between internal team members and external partners, including donors, government agencies, and local communities.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to align activities, share resources, and maximize project impact.
• Advocate for inclusive WASH financing, ensuring that budgets account for gender-specific infrastructure needs (e.g., MHM facilities, accessible water points).
• Rapport Building and Networking:
• Build strong relationships with community leaders, relevant networks, and local authorities to create a supportive environment for WASH interventions.
• Represent the partner NGO at meetings, workshops, and other events to advocate for WASH issues and generate support for project initiatives.
• Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Develop robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress, assess outcomes, and measure the impact of WASH interventions.
• Collect and analyze data to generate detailed reports, identify key performance indicators, and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Monitor Public Health Engineering initiatives using sex-, age-, and disability-disaggregated data to ensure accessibility for all, and gather feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness and relevance of project activities.
