Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain harmonious relationships between management and workers through regular communication and consultation.
  • Address and facilitate the resolution of individual and collective worker grievances in a timely manner.
  • Understand workers’ concerns and help management and employees resolve issues through cooperation and mutual understanding.
  • Coordinate wages and employment-related matters through consultation with management and worker representatives.
  • Ensure adequate worker welfare facilities, including canteen services, rest areas, sanitation facilities, and safe drinking water.
  • Recommend initiatives to improve workers’ living standards, working conditions, and overall well-being.
  • Advise management on employee training, orientation programs, apprenticeships, and worker development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all welfare-related requirements under the Bangladesh Labour Law and Labour Rules.
  • Monitor and implement welfare activities and employee engagement programs within the factory.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
