Responsibilities & Context

  • Employee Awareness Programs: Conduct awareness programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and disciplinary measures.
  • Welfare Activities Compliance: Ensure all welfare activities are in accordance with the Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2022.
  • Effective Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication between management and workers to foster a positive work environment.
  • Provision of Amenities: Oversee the provision of necessary amenities, including dining areas, adequate toilet facilities, and access to clean drinking water.
  • Safety & Health Guidance: Advise and brief workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machine guards, sanitation practices, and fire safety protocols.
  • Grievance & Compliance Management: Handle employee grievances and compliance issues in line with labor laws, ensuring fair resolution.
  • Employee Orientation: Conduct orientation programs for new employees, providing them with essential information on company policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure all HR, Admin, and compliance-related documentation is maintained accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Absenteeism Reduction: Counsel absent workers and implement strategies to reduce absenteeism and improve attendance.
  • Health & Safety Motivation: Counsel workers on health and safety issues, promoting workplace hygiene and encouraging compliance with safety standards.
  • Maternity Benefits Compliance: Ensure that maternity benefits are provided in accordance with the Bangladesh Labor Law.
  • Complaint & Suggestion Management: Regularly check complaint and suggestion boxes, sharing relevant feedback with the concerned management for action.
  • HR Presentations & Policy Development: Prepare presentation materials on various HR issues and assist in developing policies, procedures, manuals, and SOPs in English as required.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned by management.
