• Support the YLO Development and Advocacy Manager in addressing key policy and advocacy issues in program implementation and external stakeholder dialogues.
• Oversee YLOs and advocacy activities, ensuring technical soundness and reporting.
• Coordinate with campaign officers at Hub-field offices for smooth implementation of YLOs and advocacy activities.
• Identify trainers and facilitators for YLO and YSO training sessions in each hub.
• Increase organizational capacity of YLOs and YSOs, focusing on inclusive youth participation and civic action.
• Ensure both registered and non-registered YLOs and YSOs are effectively engaged and represent their communities.
• Participate in project management forums, including prep-workshops and activity design workshops.
• Represent JAAGO Foundation at various levels, coordinating with NGOs and GoB in alignment with higher management.
• Coordinate with the MEAL team for selecting YLOs and YSOs during surveys and evaluations (baseline, end line, mid-term, final) of the BIYA project.
• Apply Youth and Girls Empowerment Program strategies in operational planning and design.
• Leverage opportunities to contribute to BIYA’s broader program goals.
• Create an open, respectful working environment fostering communication across all personnel levels, aligned with JAAGO's core values.
• Ensure timely achievement of project deliverables.
• Embed positive youth development approaches in all activities.
• Contribute to donor reporting (monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
