  • 10 to 12 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Membership in the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC).
  • Dynamic, confident, and proactive in approach.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global engineering codes and standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Excel and project management tools like MS Project.
  • Hardworking, self-driven, and highly motivated.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Organize and lead project meetings.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and follow up with project engineers.
  • Forward all types of bills before submission to headquarters.
  • Regularly oversee and monitor construction activities to ensure work quality, maintaining accuracy in accordance with design drawings.
  • Prepare payment requests for contractors.
  • Review and verify all project-related reports.
  • Check all project estimates before sending to headquarters.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules to align with the master project plan and meet targets.
  • Support the Project In-Charge and relevant teams to prepare weekly work schedules and evaluate weekly progress.
  • Ensure that construction work is progressing according to the planned schedule.
  • Focus on cost reduction by managing material wastage.
  • Supervise all construction work, including structural and finishing tasks.
  • Attend monthly project operations meetings and training sessions.
  • Review Quality Assurance and Development (QAD) reports and provide solutions as needed.
  • Ensure safety and security measures are maintained at every stage of the project.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.
