  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Quality Control/Assurance in a well reputed buying office or factory.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Outerwear: Padded, Fake down, Real Down, Seam Sealed, CWS (Jackets, Technical Outfit & Sportswear), Quality Control, basic on printing, heat seal, embroidery and washing.
  • Should have good working experience with top sportswear/jacket brands
  • Knowledge in textile and print will be a definite advantage
  • Should have thorough knowledge about garment measurement and patterns
  • Must have skills in examining and establishing proper quality operations and procedure

Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitor fabric approval and inventory based on the Micro-Production Plan (MPP), updating AQM/QAM in case of any issues.
  • Ensure the factory provides accurate daily production updates to the concerned merchant team.
  • Collaborate closely with key factory personnel in the sampling and sewing areas to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Escalate exceptions and delays to QA and QAM for timely resolution.
  • Review size sets and provide necessary feedback, pattern amendments, and proceed to the Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) after size set approval.
  • Follow up on line feeding, machine setup, and mockup approval.
  • Ensure all line setup processes are controlled in the factory, including line loading.
  • Inspect the first production bundle with the factory team according to ZXY SOP and ensure the correct line is used for bulk production.
  • Verify fabric quality, color, test requirements, print, wash (embellishment) quality, and placement according to the tech pack and customer comments to maintain the required quality levels in bulk production.
  • Maintain washing standards, hand-feel, shade consistency, and test parameters for bulk production.
  • Monitor the QC team and provide training to control quality levels effectively.
  • Achieve above 95% for sample quality and delivery KPIs, ensuring first-time and on-time sample approval from ZXY HQ.
  • Adhere to best practices and process controls to ensure ZXY SOP compliance for all orders, customer grade-wise.
  • Inspect print panels for quality and placement, as well as cutting quality (marker, relaxing, shade).
  • Review factory QC records, conduct daily inline inspections, measurement checks, and address any production issues.
  • Ensure print and embroidery (embellishment) quality, shade, hand-feel, and durability by conducting necessary random wash tests and daily machine calibration as per SOP.
  • Perform daily in-line, pre-final inspections, measurement checks, and random tests as per ZXY SOPs for all styles.
  • Raise flags for any information gaps from ZXY HQ, unethical behavior, or any encouragement from team members or the factory to bypass SOPs, ship rejected, or substandard shipments, and report to the respective QAM or AGM Quality.
