Job Context Amber IT Ltd. is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Software Engineer / Software Engineer (.NET) to join its growing development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on core business systems including ERP, Billing, Payroll, and Inventory. The selected candidate will take technical ownership of development activities, support junior team members through mentorship, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and business-focused software solutions. Key Responsibilities ✔ Enterprise Application Development: Coordinate the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications, including ERP, Billing, Payroll, and Inventory systems. ✔ Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust and scalable software solutions. ✔ .NET Application Development: Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, and Web API. ✔ Software Architecture & Best Practices: Guide the development team in applying modern software engineering practices, including Clean Architecture, Microservices, and Modular Monolith design approaches. ✔ SQL Server Optimization: Improve database performance through complex query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and other SQL Server performance-tuning techniques. ✔ Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development process. ✔ API & Payment Gateway Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways while ensuring secure, reliable, and maintainable system connectivity. ✔ Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve complex technical and system issues across multiple application modules. ✔ Technical Ownership: Take end-to-end technical ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality development, and alignment with business requirements.
