Key Responsibilities Lead and guide the medical team during emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective clinical responses. Establish strong communication and coordination with outreach services, including satellite clinics, medical assistants, nurses, and midwives. Build, motivate, and strengthen teamwork to ensure effective collaboration among medical professionals. Coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) and Deputy Project Manager (DPM) to manage special programmes and official visits, including donor visits and visits by RRRC, UNO, and the Civil Surgeon in Cox’s Bazar. Maintain professional communication with senior authorities through email and other official channels. Demonstrate commitment and willingness to work in remote locations as required. Provide clinical guidance in patient care and support junior physicians in complex medical cases. Oversee departmental medical services and ensure high standards of patient care. Review complex diagnoses, guide treatment planning, and provide clinical services when necessary. Supervise, recruit, train, and mentor physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Manage departmental administrative activities, risk management, and allocated budgets. Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of inpatient and departmental services. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, hospital policies, and medical ethics. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure consistent documentation practices. Coordinate with hospital administration, medical staff, consultants, and senior management to address operational and clinical matters. Organize departmental meetings and participate in hospital board meetings as required. Present departmental concerns, requests, and operational challenges to the hospital board or relevant authorities. Manage departmental resources, including medical equipment, machinery, and essential supplies. Address concerns raised by hospital staff and assign duties to physicians, nurses, and other team members as necessary. Prepare and coordinate staff schedules to ensure uninterrupted medical services. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality project support and uphold organizational standards. Perform other relevant duties assigned by the organization’s authorized management.
