✔ Lead 24×7 NOC Operations: Lead and manage 24×7 Network Operations Center (NOC) activities to maximize network availability, service stability, and SLA compliance.
✔ ISP Network Operations: Monitor, operate, and maintain ISP backbone, core, edge, FTTH, GPON/EPON, enterprise, and branch networks.
✔ MikroTik Network Management: Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize MikroTik routers, including routing, firewall, NAT, QoS, VLAN, bandwidth management, and related network services.
✔ Managed Switch Configuration: Configure and maintain managed switches, including VLAN, trunk/access ports, STP/RSTP, LACP, port isolation, link aggregation, and other Layer-2 features.
✔ Upstream Connectivity Monitoring: Monitor bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss, route quality, and service availability across upstream connections.
✔ BGP Management: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot BGP sessions with upstream providers, IXs/NIXs, peers, and other network partners.
✔ BGP Route Analysis: Analyze BGP routes, prefixes, routing policies, path selection, route advertisements, and inbound/outbound traffic behavior.
✔ Network Partner Coordination: Coordinate with upstream providers, IX/NIX operators, vendors, and partners during connectivity issues, routing incidents, maintenance, and capacity upgrades.
✔ Network Architecture: Design, review, document, and implement network topology and architecture for backbone, aggregation, distribution, access, FTTH, and branch networks.
✔ Network Expansion & Optimization: Plan and implement network expansion, redundancy, failover, capacity upgrades, and infrastructure optimization.
✔ Major Incident Management: Lead critical incident response, advanced troubleshooting, service restoration, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major network incidents.
✔ Technical Escalation: Act as the final technical escalation point for major network, routing, connectivity, latency, packet-loss, and service-impacting issues.
✔ Team Leadership: Manage and guide NOC Engineers, Team Leads, and Branch Office technical teams, including shift planning, task distribution, technical support, and performance evaluation.
✔ Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Core Network, Transmission, System, Security, Field Operations, Customer Support, upstream providers, IXs/NIXs, and vendors.
✔ Network Monitoring: Monitor network infrastructure using LibreNMS, Zabbix, Cacti, SmokePing, and other network monitoring and alerting platforms.
✔ Proactive Performance Monitoring: Monitor bandwidth utilization, link status, CPU/memory usage, interface errors, optical levels, latency, packet loss, routing changes, and overall network availability.
✔ Traffic & Capacity Analysis: Analyze monitoring data and traffic trends to identify potential network bottlenecks, capacity limitations, and service degradation before they impact customers.
✔ Maintenance & Upgrades: Ensure timely execution and proper coordination of planned and emergency maintenance, link migration, equipment replacement, and network upgrade activities.
✔ Network Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP documentation, topology maps, device inventories, configuration records, SOPs, incident reports, RCA reports, and operational KPIs.
✔ Configuration Backup: Ensure proper configuration backup and documentation for routers, switches, and other critical network devices.
✔ NOC Process Improvement: Develop and improve NOC processes, escalation procedures, monitoring standards, troubleshooting workflows, and operational SOPs.
✔ Technical Mentoring: Provide technical mentoring and training to NOC and network team members to strengthen troubleshooting and operational capabilities.
✔ Network Reliability: Proactively work to improve network uptime, redundancy, routing efficiency, latency, packet-loss performance, and overall customer experience.
✔ Other Responsibilities: Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to NOC, network operations, infrastructure, routing, or ISP service management.
