Jagrata Juba Shangha

JJS operates across several regions of Bangladesh, with its primary base in the South-Western region, particularly in Khulna. The organization focuses on pro-poor issues, working with marginalized occupational groups, disadvantaged and marginalized communities, women, children, people vulnerable to disasters, and persons with disabilities.

Since its inception, JJS has consistently sought to address the evolving poverty landscape of the country at the regional level by implementing strategic approaches to reduce poverty. The organization views development through a rights-based lens, while respecting the ethnic diversity, cultural practices, and values of Bangladesh.
