Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into scalable, secure, and effective technical solutions.
Lead the design and development of complex software applications, APIs, services, and system integrations.
Take ownership of application architecture, component design, integration patterns, technical standards, and solution design where required.
Review existing systems to identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, improved performance, scalability, maintainability, and technical debt reduction.
Develop, enhance, and maintain reliable production-level applications in line with SDLC, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
Lead technical, code, and implementation reviews to ensure quality, security, maintainability, and compliance with approved standards.
Break down complex requirements into technical tasks, estimate development efforts, identify dependencies and risks, and support delivery planning.
Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and enterprise systems while ensuring reliability, security, scalability, interoperability, and data consistency.
Resolve complex software defects and production incidents through root-cause analysis and appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Provide Level 3 technical support and serve as the technical point of contact for assigned applications, services, and integrations.
Monitor application performance, logs, metrics, databases, and production trends to identify and resolve reliability and performance issues.
Improve application monitoring, observability, alerting, error handling, resilience, and overall system availability.
Support CI/CD, deployment automation, release management, rollback procedures, and post-release validation to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
Implement secure software development practices and ensure timely resolution of security vulnerabilities, audit findings, and compliance requirements.
Ensure transactional systems maintain proper data integrity, idempotency, error handling, auditability, reconciliation, data protection, and service availability.
Conduct R&D on emerging technologies, software frameworks, engineering tools, and industry best practices to assess their suitability for organizational requirements.
Drive technical debt reduction, reusable components, automation, system modernization, and continuous engineering improvements.
Mentor Software Engineers through technical guidance, design and code reviews, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and capability development.
Maintain and review technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, design documents, operational procedures, and other development artifacts.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product and project teams, QA, security, infrastructure, operations, and other technical teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Support Agile practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, retrospectives, and delivery tracking.
