Plan, coordinate, review, and supervise physical and chemical testing for new product development and reformulation projects.
Conduct analytical testing for pre-formulation studies and laboratory-scale evaluation of new and reformulated products.
Develop, validate, optimize, review, and update analytical methods and procedures with focus on accuracy, reliability, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct accelerated, real-time, ongoing, and in-use stability studies according to approved protocols and ensure timely analysis of stability data.
Analyze and interpret stability results and provide technical recommendations on product stability, trends, specifications, and development decisions.
Perform comparative testing of innovator/market-leading products against in-house products during development and stability studies.
Prepare, review, and update Standard Testing Procedures (STPs), analytical specifications, and related documents for effective technology transfer.
Ensure compliance with GLP, quality standards, and applicable ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements throughout analytical activities.
Prepare, standardize, document, store, and manage chemical reagents and working standards in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain accurate records and complete documentation for analytical testing, method development, stability studies, batch analysis, reagents, and product development activities.
Ensure data integrity, traceability, and proper documentation across all analytical R&D processes.
Provide technical support and coordinate analytical R&D activities with Formulation R&D, QA, QC, Validation, Production, and other relevant departments.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, resource optimization, and cost reduction within analytical R&D operations.
Supervise day-to-day analytical activities of R&D Executives and ensure effective utilization of laboratory resources.
Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of R&D or immediate supervisor.
