Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute Industrial Engineering (IE) strategies aligned with company objectives.
Plan factory capacity and manpower requirements based on production forecasts.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout all production processes.
Ensure optimal line balancing and layout design to achieve maximum efficiency.
Set, monitor, and achieve efficiency targets for each production line.
Develop and maintain SMV for all product styles.
Conduct method studies and work measurements to eliminate non-value-added activities.
Control and monitor both direct and indirect labor costs.
Optimize the use of machines, manpower, and materials.
Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Train IE team members, supervisors, and operators in productivity improvement techniques.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
Participate in pre-production meetings and provide technical guidance for new styles.
Track and analyze daily line efficiency, absenteeism, and productivity metrics.
Prepare and present performance reports and improvement plans to senior management.
Implement modern IE tools such as time studies, real-time efficiency tracking, and performance dashboards.
Must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Bangla.
