Determine the most suitable software architecture based on system specifications and design requirements.
Analyze business and technical requirements to define solution parameters and system specifications.
Provide training sessions to MIS Officers and end-users to support knowledge transfer and capacity building.
Lead formal requirement-gathering workshops with clients, demonstrating a solid understanding of their business environment and needs.
Contribute to high-level project planning and oversee implementation strategies.
Drive the functional design process and facilitate collaborative design workshops.
Define, manage, and negotiate functional scope to minimize risks and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
Create process maps and diagrams for finance and accounting workflows using standard modeling tools.
Work closely with software developers to produce detailed software design documentation.
Perform version control and ensure timely compilation of software builds.
Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures.
Leverage industry-standard technologies, tools, and methodologies to develop effective software solutions.
Manage and resolve issues during the implementation phase in coordination with the client.
Develop clear, high-quality presentations to illustrate business processes, both current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) states.
Prepare clean and well-structured master data (e.g., assets, customers, vendors) for system upload.
Ensure seamless execution of integration and implementation activities from initiation to completion.
Support administrative teams during period-end closings and promptly address any emerging challenges.
Collaborate with other implementation professionals to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Review and analyze existing laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance business operations.
Other Benefits
Employment Type: 1-year contractual position, renewable annually based on performance.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
Festival Bonus: Two bonuses per year (equivalent to 100% of basic salary), subject to a minimum of six months of continuous service.
Accommodation: Fully furnished single-room with attached bathroom available within the port premises (Officers' Dormitory) for a monthly fee of Tk 3,000.
