• Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance across the entire supply chain network.
• Align supply chain operations with overall business objectives, demand forecasts, and production schedules by collaborating closely with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Finance teams.
• Supplier Management & Procurement:
• Manage supplier relationships and vendor contracts, including negotiating pricing, terms, and service-level agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Source and evaluate suppliers through audits and performance reviews to ensure reliability, product quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
• Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
• Track and analyze key supply chain performance indicators, such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, fill rates, and lead times.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures to optimize overall supply chain performance.
• Inventory & Demand Planning:
• Streamline inventory management processes, including demand planning, inventory control, and stock replenishment, to prevent stockouts, minimize excess inventory, and reduce carrying costs.
• Logistics & Distribution:
• Coordinate transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring the timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods to customers and distribution hubs.
• Risk Management & Business Continuity:
• Develop and implement supply chain risk management strategies, identifying potential disruptions and creating contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
• Technology & Systems Integration:
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement supply chain technologies such as ERP, WMS, and TMS to increase efficiency, visibility, and integration across operations.
• Project Leadership & Process Improvement:
• Lead cross-functional teams on supply chain projects, including process optimization, system implementations, and change management initiatives to drive long-term value and performance improvements.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs procedures, and all applicable import/export regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to supply chain personnel, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous learning and collaboration.
• Market Intelligence & Innovation:
• Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies in supply chain management. Leverage best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate supply chain goals, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders through regular reports, updates, and recommendations.
• Sustainability & CSR:
• Champion sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives within the supply chain. Promote ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and socially responsible practices.
