Proven ability to develop and execute effective financial strategies.
Exceptional skills in negotiation and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Comprehensive understanding of Taxation, VAT, Corporate Law, and International/Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/BFRS).
ACA/FCA qualification (Chartered Accountant from ICAB) is highly desirable.
Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization’s long-term objectives and business roadmap.
Advise the Board and senior leadership on financial implications for investments, growth initiatives, and diversification plans.
Direct comprehensive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across all business units.
Optimize capital structure, manage funding requirements, and guide strategic investment decisions.
Supervise the full spectrum of financial operations, including Accounting, Finance, VAT & Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS) and regulatory mandates.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and project-specific funding needs, particularly in areas such as land acquisition, construction, and real estate development.
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports to the Board of Directors.
Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies supported by robust internal controls.
Ensure strict adherence to statutory obligations under NBR (VAT & Tax), RJSC, Bangladesh Bank, and ICAB audit standards.
Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and timely resolution of audit observations.
Manage financial, legal, and insurance risk exposures across projects and corporate functions.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, non-banking financial institutions (NBFIs), and other financial entities to secure financing, LCs, and loans.
Negotiate favorable credit lines, overdraft facilities, and funding agreements to maintain cost-effective financial operations.
Lead feasibility studies and financial assessments for new ventures, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions.
Ensure strategic allocation of funds to maximize returns and enhance ROI.
Lead, guide, and mentor the Finance & Accounts team (including Managers, Assistant Managers, and Executives) to ensure high performance.
Promote a culture of financial discipline across departments through effective training and policy implementation.
Work closely with CEOs, COOs, and Managing Directors to align financial planning with operational and sales strategies.
Drive the adoption of ERP systems, automation tools, and contemporary financial management practices.
Ensure digitized record-keeping, compliance tracking, and the use of business intelligence tools for improved financial decision-making.
