Additional Requirements
Proficient with professional cameras (e.g., RED, ARRI, Canon, Sony), lighting equipment, and stabilizers.
Strong knowledge of visual composition, lighting, and camera movement.
Proficiency with editing and color grading software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve), After effects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Context
- Collaborate with faculty, marketing, and production teams to conceptualize and execute video content for academic, institutional, and promotional purposes.
- Operate professional camera systems to capture cinematic footage aligned with project goals and DIU's branding guidelines.
- Oversee camera and lighting teams during studio and on-location shoots at DIU campuses or partner institutions.
- Provide technical and creative guidance to students during project-based learning or media assignments.
- Manage, maintain, and inventory all cinematography-related equipment including cameras, lights, lenses, and stabilization systems.
- Ensure footage quality by participating in the post-production process, including color grading and visual consistency.
- Support the online classes, and university digital platforms.
- Ensure compliance with copyright, accessibility, and data protection guidelines in all video content.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in cinematography, and introduce innovative techniques to elevate production quality at DIU.
