Responsibilities & Context
COAST Foundation (
www.coastbd.net) is a value-based, independent, non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental development organization (NGO), holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC).
COAST maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by its staff or anyone directly associated with its operations. Selected candidates must adhere strictly to COAST’s policies on the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, and violence.
All selected candidates will be subject to reference and background checks related to any history of sexual misconduct. Additional information may be requested during the recruitment process. If any allegations of child or women abuse or sexual exploitation are found and proven against a candidate, their application and recruitment will be immediately cancelled.
Candidates must also submit a signed declaration at the time of joining, stating that neither they nor their family members will engage in or support child marriage.
COAST Foundation, with support from the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), is currently implementing the “Resilient Homestead and Livelihood Support to the Vulnerable Coastal People of Bangladesh (RHL) Project” in Cox’s Bazar Sadar and Kutubdia upazilas.
