  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role at a reputable bank (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Willingness to work at any branch across Bangladesh.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Eagerness to quickly learn detailed product and service information.
  • Positive attitude towards strict compliance with Bangladesh Bank policies, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and directives related to money laundering prevention.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Accurately handle cash receipts and payments at the cash counter, ensuring correct denominations are managed.
  • Perform timely and precise entry of cash transactions into the core banking system.
  • Adhere to note sorting procedures, AML policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support cash and vault management activities, including balancing cash tills, sorting notes, and verifying reports.
  • Meet financial goals related to deposits, loans, cards, and new account openings as established by the bank.
  • Manage ATM booth operations, including cash loading, unloading, and reconciliation.
  • Hold the vault key in the absence of the Cash In-Charge.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction in the cash handling area.
  • Maintain sufficient stock of forms and brochures at the cash counter.
  • Display warnings about counterfeit notes, deposit guidelines, and exchange rate information accurately.
  • Manage customer queues, uphold security protocols, and ensure cleanliness within the cash area.
  • Preserve confidentiality of all customer and bank information.
Work Location: Any branch or sub-branch across Bangladesh.

  • Salary Review: Half Yearly
  • Lunch Facilities: Partially subsidize

Other Benefits


  • Monthly gross salary of BDT 36,000 during the probation period (minimum 6 months).
  • After successful completion of probation, monthly salary increases to BDT 45,000.
  • Other eligible benefits provided as per EBL’s People Management Policy.
