  • Completion of Chartered Accountancy (CA CC) is mandatory.
  • Candidates who are part-qualified from ICAB will have added advantage.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferred background includes experience in:
    • Light or heavy manufacturing industries
    • Group of companies
    • Packaging sector
    • Electrical wire or cable industry

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and ensure the strategic implementation of financial policies by leading the finance team and coordinating with departments like Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Factory operations.
  • Manage overall financial activities including company accounts, cash and bank transactions, receipts and payments, fund flow, stock records, trial balance, tax, and VAT operations.
  • Possess strong expertise in Bangladeshi tax regulations, including the Income Tax Ordinance, VAT Act, and Customs Act.
  • Prepare financial reports—monthly, quarterly, and annually—in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Review and analyze accounting data to ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and meet reporting standards.
  • Ensure proper deduction and submission of tax and VAT at source, and maintain full compliance with tax laws.
  • Guarantee the organization meets all legal requirements for taxation, Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC), and both internal and external audits.
  • Create and implement strategic tax planning to optimize tax liabilities while maintaining legal compliance.
  • Skilled in using financial software such as Tally/ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools.
