Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines in collaboration with the agriculture and microinsurance teams, as well as relevant partners.

  • Identify and engage farmer groups for participation in insurance initiatives such as crop, livestock, fisheries, and fire insurance.

  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with insurance partners and agricultural agencies, and facilitate field visits for stakeholders.

  • Build strategic alliances with private sector entities and related projects to increase farmer participation in insurance programs.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including delivery of insurance products, awareness campaigns, marketing, and capacity-building efforts.

  • Support pilot projects and ensure farmers receive necessary inputs, weather information, and market connections.

  • Monitor field progress, provide feedback to field officers, and conduct regular visits to assess project performance.

  • Contribute to project planning, design, and evaluation, offering ideas for innovation and improvement.

  • Prepare reports, including Focus Group Discussion (FGD) summaries, and analyze findings for project enhancement.

  • Organize training and workshops for staff and stakeholders to foster continuous learning and skill development.

  • Manage financial and administrative functions at the field level, ensuring proper use of resources.
