  • Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in an export-oriented and reputed manufacturing organization, preferably in the garments sector.

  • Proven experience working with international buyers such as Levi’s, GAP, Target USA, Uniqlo, Target Australia, and C&A.

  • Must be willing and able to work on-site at the factory for extended hours as part of daily operations.


Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure day-to-day compliance activities within the factory.

  • Train and supervise personnel to maintain compliance in line with Bangladesh Labour Law.

  • Prepare all necessary documentation for buyer and third-party audits.

  • Conduct audits under the direction and guidance of the GM (HR & Compliance).

  • Follow up on post-audit activities and submit Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as required by buyers.

  • Organize Workers Participation Committee (WPC) meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and share them with members for action.

  • Monitor fire safety and protection measures to prevent accidents and ensure readiness.

  • Supervise the preparation and timely disbursement of maternity benefits in accordance with legal requirements.

  • Conduct Health & Safety Committee meetings and circulate meeting minutes.

  • Renew all factory licenses annually and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

  • Manage labour court activities in compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law.

  • Submit required reports to BGMEA, Labour Ministry, and other labour organizations.

  • Plan and coordinate the grievance handling process in collaboration with the GM (HR & Compliance).

  • Report all compliance violations to the GM (HR & Compliance) that may impact buyer Codes of Conduct (COC) or labour law adherence.
