Additional Requirements
At least 2 to 3 years of experience working in the sea freight sector (applicable for Executive-level candidates).
Preferably knowledgeable in ocean freight, international trade, related laws and regulations, as well as supply chain processes and procedures.
Ensure ocean freight shipments are moved accurately and on time between designated locations, meeting customer service standards and complying with national regulations.
Manage all communication related to shipments with customers, vendors, and internal company teams.
Proactively handle service exceptions, addressing any deviations from quality standards through follow-up and resolution.
Generate invoices and verify shipment-related costs within the defined KPI timelines.
Oversee and coordinate both inbound and outbound shipments.
Perform additional value-added tasks as needed to satisfy customer demands and operational changes.
Maintain strong knowledge of export procedures, banking letters of credit (L/C), and international Incoterms.
Prepare and manage ocean export documentation, including debit notes.
Ensure shipments are executed within the company’s standard operating procedures and timelines.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize freight operations and reduce expenses.
