  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in managing operations at a poultry breeder farm.
  • Skilled in various farm activities including feeding, vaccination, and health management of flocks throughout brooding, growing, and laying stages.
  • Motivated to grow and build a career within the poultry industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of strategic decision-making.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Support the overall management of brooding, growing, and laying operations for poultry flocks in accordance with established standards.
  • Monitor key health indicators such as feeding schedules, vaccination status, body weight, and overall flock condition to ensure effective poultry health management.
  • Regulate environmental factors—such as temperature, humidity, and lighting—during the laying phase to optimize productivity.
  • Carry out egg grading, assess egg weight, and identify top-quality eggs suitable for hatching.
  • Enforce strict biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entries in the ERP system and regularly report on flock performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure scheduled, emergency, and repair maintenance tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with farm staff and cross-functional teams to manage litter removal, shed and equipment cleaning, disinfection (including lab tests if required), and prepare the facility for new flock arrivals.
