A leading international convenience store chain—among the largest in its home country—is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited. Currently in its pre-opening phase, the project aims to redefine retail customer experience in Bangladesh. To support this vision, we are seeking a skilled Executive / Senior Executive, Accounts Payable to manage and coordinate payment functions in collaboration with the international project team and local stakeholders.
Job Purpose
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all invoices, expenses, and claims to guarantee timely and precise payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
Verify that all supplier and partner payment documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations for timely disbursement.
Monitor outstanding and advance payments, ensuring confirmation from relevant managers with superior approval.
Ensure receipt of original tax invoices and accurate tax deductions on service payments.
Review expenditure documents for alignment with Standard Operating Procedures and accuracy.
Process verified invoices and bank disbursement transactions accurately within the accounting system.
Track, identify, and report unresolved or critical issues in the Accounts Payable (AP) process for resolution.
Safeguard the confidentiality of company financial data in compliance with ISMS policies.
