Additional Requirements
25 to 40 years.
Experience working with INGOs, NGOs, or development agency–supported projects.
Proficient in finance, administration, logistics, budgeting, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
Skilled in preparing financial reports, managing fund flow, and ensuring donor compliance.
Experienced in online accounting systems, particularly Tally ERP9, Tally Prime, and ERP software.
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledgeable about VAT and Tax compliance as well as office administration in various organizational settings.
Work experience in Cox’s Bazar will be considered an advantage.
Fluent in English and Bangla; familiarity with Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect will be an added benefit.
Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access (THEA)
The contract will remain valid until September 30, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to track and manage fund activities effectively.
Prepare and maintain detailed spreadsheets and supporting records for all payments.
Process and verify volunteer payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
Generate monthly and periodic financial statements for both the organization and donor reporting.
Oversee IT and VAT deductions, ensure timely deposits, and issue payment certificates to vendors and service providers.
Review and recommend payment vouchers and cheques, while managing daily banking and fund operations.
Administer petty cash, prepare weekly expenditure reports, and process cash reimbursements as needed.
Issue receipts for all payments received via cash, cheque, or bank transfer.
Prepare bank reconciliations for all organizational accounts and submit regular reports on balances and outstanding items.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of procured goods and services according to work orders and specifications; conduct quality checks to prevent delays or quality issues.
Prepare purchase/work orders with all required documentation (PR, RFQ, CBA, PO, GRN, Note for Record, etc.) and submit to the procurement committee for approval.
Compile and submit monthly Receipt and Payment Statements and other financial reports as required by the NGO Forum Central Office.
Provide administrative support by preparing and maintaining correspondence, HR files, documents, and relevant reports.
