• Customer Focus:
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service by implementing and maintaining the Customer Service Program.
• Create a professional and welcoming atmosphere for guests and internal team members.
• Actively monitor and respond to Customer Service Reports, feedback, complaints, and compliments to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a customer-centric culture within the department to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
• Business Awareness:
• Monitor and support achievement of departmental KPIs, including sales, cost control, stock management, and profitability.
• Assist in managing payroll and staff scheduling based on actual and forecasted business volumes, adhering to company productivity standards.
• Contribute to cost control initiatives to keep operating expenses aligned with business forecasts.
• Identify and act on opportunities to maximize departmental sales and profitability.
• Specific Job Accountabilities:
• Maintain proper stock levels, ensure effective stock rotation, and adhere to equipment storage policies.
• Assist with stock-taking procedures and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Comply with company protocols for food and beverage controls, ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
• Actively participate in efforts to maintain and elevate operating standards across the department.
• Growing the Business:
• Take a proactive approach to sales opportunities, aiming to exceed sales targets and department budgets.
• Propose and implement new promotional activities, and assist in planning, launching, and reviewing marketing initiatives.
• Keep the team sales-focused and motivated, ensuring all members contribute to business growth.
• Play an active role in securing catering orders and delivering premium service while upholding food safety and brand value.
• People Management:
• Support the development of a motivated and high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and pride.
• Participate in and facilitate systematic training and development programs aligned with business needs.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on team performance and departmental goals.
• Controlling the Environment:
• Supervise daily departmental operations, ensuring consistency with company standards and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with shift control procedures and uphold brand protocols at all times.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic work environment by complying with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Licensing Laws, Fire Safety, and all other statutory requirements.
• Address findings from Hygiene Audits promptly to improve overall operational quality and ensure compliance.
