What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a reputed 4–5 star international hotel, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in spoken and written English.

  • Warm, enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for guest service and a natural smile.

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Proficient in hotel PMS and Channel Manager systems, along with solid knowledge of Google Sheets and MS Excel.

  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field.


Responsibilities & Context

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead by example through consistent service excellence, professional grooming, and exemplary etiquette.

  • Train, mentor, and coach Front Desk and Transport teams on guest interaction, upselling, complaint resolution, and emotional intelligence.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, courtesy, and collaboration across the department.

  • Conduct regular departmental meetings, SOP refreshers, and performance audits to maintain service quality and compliance.

Guest Engagement & Experience

  • Personally welcome VIP and repeat guests, ensuring personalized recognition and attention to their preferences for an exceptional stay.

  • Oversee the entire guest journey — from pre-arrival communication to post-departure feedback and follow-up.

  • Empower the team to deliver personalized, anticipatory service that goes beyond routine transactions.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, online reviews, and feedback, implementing effective improvement plans.

  • Address guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring full resolution and service recovery.

Operational Excellence

  • Supervise all front office operations, including reservations, check-ins/outs, billing, and transport coordination.

  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B, and Reservations to deliver a seamless guest experience.

  • Manage room inventory, rate consistency, and ensure data accuracy across PMS and Channel Manager systems.

  • Oversee cash handling, guest folios, and night audit reconciliations for financial precision.

  • Maintain and update SOPs for front desk, guest relations, and transport management operations.

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as the central communication link between the Front Office and other departments.

  • Present daily operational highlights and key performance insights during management meetings.

  • Ensure prompt, professional handling of all guest communications — including calls, emails, and messages.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Reservations teams on VIP, corporate, and group bookings.

  • Support internal audits and MIS reporting through accurate data management and record-keeping.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Regularly review and enhance front office workflows, SOPs, and service delivery processes.

  • Introduce innovative guest recognition initiatives such as personalized amenities, welcome notes, and tailored follow-ups.

  • Analyze guest data and feedback to recommend service and process improvements.

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at positioning Sky City Hotel Dhaka as the most guest-preferred 4-star hotel in Dhaka South.
