Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure the availability of all essential resources—including manpower, machinery, materials, and other inputs—for seamless production operations.
  • Effectively allocate resources to minimize bottlenecks and ensure production targets are consistently met.
  • Establish systems to regularly monitor production progress, quality, productivity, efficiency, and other key performance indicators.
  • Oversee the implementation and functionality of quality assurance mechanisms to ensure that products meet customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance and day-to-day support to the production team to help achieve individual, line-level, and floor/team-wide performance goals.
  • Optimize workforce and resource utilization to guarantee on-time order shipments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Technical teams on initiatives such as process simplification, automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Take full ownership of production costs, proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor wages, operational costs, and related expenses to manage the workforce within budget constraints.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulations and standards on the production floor.
  • Participate actively in meetings with Marketing, Sales, and other support departments, contributing valuable insights to identify areas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
