Responsibilities & Context
An internationally recognized convenience store chain—among the largest in its home country—is entering the Bangladesh retail sector through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited. With a bold vision to redefine customer experience in the retail space, the venture is currently in its pre-launch phase. As part of this exciting development, we are looking for a skilled IT Manager to lead and manage all IT operations in collaboration with global project leaders and local teams.
Job Objective
The IT Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing all IT systems—including software, databases, and automation tools—to support the organization's operations. This role plays a key part in aligning IT solutions with business needs, leading cross-functional tech initiatives, maintaining infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and driving digital transformation to ensure operational excellence and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities

Set up complete IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks) for new store, warehouse, and office openings.

Test and validate new applications before deployment to ensure compatibility and performance.

Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for hardware and software across all locations according to planned schedules.

Provide technical support and training to staff in stores, warehouses, and offices for smooth IT system usage.

Develop and follow a monthly IT support visit schedule for in-store system assessments.

Deliver training and guidelines on resolving common technical issues and using IT systems.

Work with other departments to resolve IT-related operational challenges.

Address and resolve technical complaints regarding IT equipment and software performance.

Ensure data protection and system security in accordance with the organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS).
