Requirements:
Proven experience in poultry post-mortem and laboratory diagnostics
Strong knowledge of poultry diseases, vaccination protocols, and nutrition
Ability to safely handle biological samples and hazardous materials
Good skills in analysis, documentation, and reporting
Familiarity with MS Office and lab management software (if available)
Willingness to work on farm premises and in field conditions
Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
Physically fit and capable of handling birds and laboratory equipment safely
Conduct post-mortem examinations to determine causes of bird mortality.
Prepare and maintain necropsy records and detailed mortality reports.
Perform laboratory tests, including:
Feed quality analysis (e.g., moisture, protein, toxin levels)
Vaccine and medicine quality checks
Water and environmental testing
Blood, fecal, and tissue sample examinations
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, incubators, pH meters, etc.
Adhere to proper hygiene, disinfection, and biosafety protocols in all procedures.
Assist the veterinarian in disease diagnosis and farm health surveillance efforts.
Maintain inventory of laboratory materials and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
Keep accurate lab records and data logs.
Support training of farm staff in biosecurity practices and health monitoring techniques.
