The Lead Advisor, Information Security will head the Bangladesh-based security team, ensuring efficient management of security alerts, operational tasks, and incident response. This role emphasizes maintaining team performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting progress to Montreal-based security managers. The Lead Advisor will also oversee compliance processes, operational task management, and alignment with HR and organizational objectives. Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate global collaboration across time zones.
Supervise and guide the team in triaging, prioritizing, and resolving security alerts.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of incidents and operational tasks in accordance with established playbooks.
Monitor the quality of incident handling and operational task execution to meet global standards.
Manage team adherence to HR policies, compliance requirements, and performance objectives.
Provide mentorship, regular feedback, and support professional development for team members.
Develop and track KPIs to evaluate team effectiveness and progress.
Compile and deliver actionable performance reports to Montreal-based security and compliance managers.
Oversee execution of operational tasks, including awareness training, vulnerability monitoring, and other assigned responsibilities.
Ensure quality assurance processes are consistently applied across all operational activities.
Act as the liaison between the Bangladesh team and Montreal security management.
Drive process improvements to enhance local operational efficiency.
Collaborate with global teams to align practices and share best practices.
