Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop new buyer relationships while providing ongoing support to existing buyers.
  • Ensure proper execution of orders according to the Time and Action (TNA) Plan to guarantee on-time shipment with the correct quality and quantity.
  • Oversee new product development and lead pricing negotiations to deliver the right products at the right price, on schedule.
  • Coordinate with certified laboratories for fabric, trims, sample, and garment testing as per customer specifications.
  • Plan and implement merchandising strategies aligned with customer expectations and company objectives.
  • Organize and coordinate buying meetings both locally and internationally.
  • Maintain daily progress reports with up-to-date information on all ongoing orders and any outstanding issues.
  • Proactively update management in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor production status and resolve any related issues to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to customer-specific procedures for order fulfillment.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the factory merchandiser to ensure timely readiness of pre-production and raw materials.
