Responsibilities & Context

Job Objective:
The Manager will be responsible for managing the programme’s technology initiatives, ensuring seamless functioning of digital tools, implementing standardized project management practices, and coordinating efforts for effective execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage technological initiatives, identifying and assessing software needs aligned with programme requirements.

  • Supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot implementations, and manage the design, development, and documentation of software/IT projects.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate user feedback into project or product development.

  • Recommend enhancements to current software and system architecture, and oversee planning and procurement of servers and IT infrastructure.

  • Ensure effective monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and vendor-related documentation; contribute to budgeting, planning, and IT capacity-building activities.


Safeguarding Responsibilities:
  • Protect programme participants, staff, and anyone interacting with the organization from harm, abuse, exploitation, harassment, or neglect, including Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), in line with safeguarding policies.
  • Promote and integrate safeguarding principles in all activities and actions within the team.
  • Serve as a resource for guidance on safeguarding, ensuring a safe and respectful working environment.
  • Adhere to and promote safeguarding reporting protocols, encouraging others to report any incidents as required.
