Nature of Job: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff (Core Position).
Job Location: A K Khan UCEP Polytechnic Institute (AKKUPI), Kalurghat, Chattogram.
Job Purpose: To assist in facilitating smooth financial & administrative activities at AKKUPI.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in student admission and record related activities-registration of students, collection of fees, issuance of ID card and certificates, and update student records, attendance, etc. as per rules & regulations of the BTEB & AKKUPI on a regular basis.
Prepare required payroll/salary statement of the staff and to pay all utility bills in time and preserve all paid bill’s documents.
Handle petty cash with regular update, prepare bank reconciliation statement, daily cash report, verifying different bills, weekly and monthly accounts, revenue & expenditure budgets estimations as and when required.
Identify procurement needs, ensure and maintain inventory of office equipment, associated properties and fixed assets, and prepare annual Inventory Report.
Maintain files and documents updated and in an orderly fashion.
Assist in arranging various academic and management events of AKKUPI.
Upkeep cleaning & security services with strict supervision of support staff.
Pay regular campus rounds to know about the requirements in certain areas like maintenance, cleaning, safety & security.
Maintain standard recordkeeping and documentation systems at AKKUPI.
To communicate with parents/guardian in relevant cases.
To render necessary support in guest reception or even management relating to AKKUPI.
Do any other related work as assigned by the AKKUPI management/office.
