Oversee daily site operations to ensure compliance with project design and specifications:
Highways: Subgrade, sub-base, base course, asphalt/concrete surfacing, drainage systems, and traffic safety measures.
Bridges: Piling, pier/abutment construction, superstructure installation, deck concreting, bearings, and expansion joints.
High-Rise Buildings: Foundation work, superstructure, MEP systems, finishes, and fire safety compliance.
Conduct material testing (e.g., soil compaction, concrete cube tests, steel tensile tests) through certified labs.
Prepare and regularly update progress reports for development partners.
Ensure tight cost control and prevent unauthorized expenditures.
Implement and enforce safety regulations set by the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and donor organizations on-site.
Prepare as-built drawings and provide maintenance guidelines for completed projects.
Keep a comprehensive site diary and maintain detailed inspection records.
Possess in-depth knowledge of BNBC, PWD, NHA, RHD, WDBB Specifications, and Public Procurement Rules (PPR 2008), as well as development partner procurement systems.
Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to coordinate effectively across multiple agencies.
