Proven technical skills in at least two of the following areas: maternal health, newborn care, child health, nutrition, immunization, quality improvement, or community health development.
In-depth understanding of Bangladesh’s healthcare system, including how health and nutrition services are structured for women, newborns, and children.
The MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project, supported by the U.S. Government, is a worldwide initiative dedicated to saving lives and expanding access to high-quality, integrated maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (MNCH+N) services. It achieves this by providing essential medicines, vaccines, and life-saving supplies while enhancing critical healthcare services for pregnant women, newborns, and children under five. The project focuses on improving safe delivery services, vaccinating children, addressing severe illnesses and malnutrition, and managing disease outbreaks.
In this context, the Regional Technical Manager serves as MCGL’s main liaison with Bangladesh’s Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) at the regional and divisional levels. They are responsible for supervising and coordinating the implementation of the project’s life-saving services and activities outlined in the work plan within the region, as well as tracking the contributions of local partners to these activities.
