Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities – Screen Print Operator
Screen Printing Setup
Prepare printing screens, inks, and printing tables as per job requirements.
 
Align screens accurately for consistent and sharp prints.
 
Operating the Screen Printing Process
Operate manual or semi-automatic screen printing machines efficiently.
 
Ensure proper ink flow and even pressure during printing to maintain quality.
Quality Control
Check each printed item for clarity, alignment, smudging, or color issues.
Reject and report any defective prints or materials.
Material Handling
Prepare and organize raw materials (fabrics, bags, poly, etc.) for printing.
Maintain cleanliness of screens, squeegees, and workstations.
Ink Mixing & Maintenance
Mix ink colors according to job specifications.
Clean screens and tools after each job and ensure proper storage.
Production Tracking
Maintain records of daily output and report to the supervisor.
Ensure deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
Team Coordination
Cooperate with the design team and helpers to ensure smooth workflow.
 
Assist others in finishing, drying, or packing if required.
