The Senior Project Officer, Vocational Training will play a critical role in facilitating formal, center-based Solar (PV) System Installation and Maintenance training for selected host and Rohingya youth. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day implementation of project activities in line with approved proposals and plans, both in host communities and refugee camps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate vocational skills training sessions in training centers, following approved training modules.

• Develop and maintain training delivery plans, session plans, job sheets, progress reports, information sheets, and observation checklists as required.

• Assist in operational aspects of center-based Solar (PV) System Installation and Maintenance training programs.

• Ensure timely availability of course materials, Competency-Based Learning Materials (CBLMs), and necessary supplies at the training centers.

• Deliver practical training sessions and hands-on learning opportunities for participants in line with the curriculum.

• Monitor and maintain the quality of training to ensure participants gain the required competencies for certification.

• Assist the Specialist – Vocational Training with technical content, instructional methods, maintenance, and necessary repairs at skills centers.

• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of training participants' information and progress.

• Support the implementation of Community Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM).

• Provide weekly safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and CFRM awareness sessions to participants.

• Support the recruitment of volunteers for training centers and supervise their activities.

• Motivate and guide participants to develop a post-training employment or entrepreneurship vision.

• Coordinate with the Specialist – Vocational Training and Project Officer – Market Linkage for timely disbursement of monthly payments to volunteers, participants, and laborers.

• Conduct continuous monitoring of training courses to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

• Highlight and disseminate best practices and technologies in livelihood interventions for income generation.

• Serve as the technical expert on solar system installation and provide guidance and support to Assistant Project Officers.

• Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to BRAC and donor agencies as required.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with community members and other stakeholders.

• Represent BRAC in meetings with government agencies, UN bodies, NGOs, and coordination forums.

• Contribute to the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system of the project and ensure learnings inform decision-making processes.
