Additional Requirements
- Proven experience in integrated project implementation, particularly in the areas of livelihood, agriculture, and aquaculture.
- Strong capacity-building skills for training and mentoring staff, farmers, and community volunteers.
- Hands-on experience in managing multi-sectoral programs, including homestead/kitchen/sack gardening and aquaculture.
- Ability to provide technical support to project staff to ensure effective and efficient implementation of activities.
- Skilled in monitoring, targeting, and selecting vulnerable populations for program participation.
- Experience in project reporting, financial tracking, and accounting procedures.
- Competent in project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing.
- Excellent professional communication skills across departments within WVB, strong interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficient in coordinating, collaborating, and networking in a humanitarian or emergency response context.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Bangla, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in diverse and inclusive office environments.
- Proficient in using computers, including MS Word, Excel, internet applications, and project-related software.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, analytical thinking, creativity, and innovation skills.
Responsibilities & Context
1. Support the Efficient and Effective Delivery of Project Services
- Assist the Project Coordinator (PC) in developing activity plans and schedules.
- Identify and select Rohingya male and female youth participants for homestead gardening initiatives.
- Support the customization of existing home gardening training curricula.
- Facilitate capacity-building activities for staff in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) and Department of Fisheries (DFO).
- Take the lead in delivering homestead gardening and specialized agricultural training.
- Provide ongoing technical support to gardeners through demonstration centers, involving DAE technical personnel as needed.
- Support the distribution of agricultural inputs and incentives to selected gardeners.
- Ensure all project interventions are fully functional, properly maintained, and effectively utilized.
- Ensure training centers and frontline staff are adequately equipped for delivery.
- Establish demonstration gardens as hubs for technology extension and technical support.
2. Assist in MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Implementatio.
- Collaborate with the PC and MEAL team to develop and implement MEAL frameworks and systems.
- Ensure community feedback through established HA and MEAL systems is incorporated into program quality improvement.
- Assist in updating partners and stakeholders on DME (Design, Monitoring & Evaluation) standards and processes.
- Contribute to the development of structured and well-coordinated MEAL systems that support improved program delivery.
3. Support Coordination and Integration of WV Services
- Assist the PC in coordinating and leading integration efforts with other World Vision sectors and services.
- Help develop schedules for integrated services to maximize the impact of the emergency response.
- Ensure seamless integration of services for improved outcomes and beneficiary satisfaction.
4. Support Reporting and Accountability
- Assist the PC in tracking and reporting all project inputs, commodities, and non-food items distributed to beneficiaries.
- Support the preparation of internal and donor reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Work with the Communications Unit to document and share success stories.
- Maintain a clear and coordinated reporting structure and ensure the accurate tracking of community assets.
5. Contribute to Sustainability and Exit Strategies
- Assist the PC in leading sustainability planning and exit strategy discussions with community leaders, government stakeholders, and World Vision sector teams.
- Support the continuation of select project interventions beyond the project lifecycle, particularly within the Rohingya camps.
