Assistant Engineer - Business Operation & Production

✔ Knowledge of plastic manufacturing, extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, HDPE pipe production, water tank manufacturing, or water purifier manufacturing will be an added advantage

To strengthen its Business Operations and Production Team, ZI Group is looking for a talented, energetic, and career-oriented Engineer who can contribute to production planning, operational monitoring, process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cross-functional coordination

Key Responsibilities

✔ Assist in planning, monitoring, and controlling day-to-day production operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing activities

✔ Monitor production targets, output, productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance

✔ Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Store, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments to maintain smooth production workflows

✔ Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production and operational reports

✔ Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, material wastage, downtime, productivity issues, and process inefficiencies

✔ Assist in production planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, capacity utilization, and resource management

✔ Monitor raw material, components, and production resource requirements to help ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations

✔ Support process improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives

✔ Assist in implementing 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices across production operations

✔ Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company SOPs, production standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures

✔ Assist in identifying the root causes of production problems and support the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions

✔ Monitor manufacturing processes for plastic water tanks, HDPE pipes, HDPE coil pipes, water purifiers, water purifier accessories, and related components

✔ Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure production plans and manufacturing schedules are completed on time

✔ Monitor production progress and communicate operational issues, delays, resource requirements, and improvement opportunities to management

✔ Support management with production analysis, operational reports, performance data, and business-related information

✔ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, waste reduction, and manufacturing performance

✔ Perform other production, engineering, operational, and business-related responsibilities assigned by management
